From $180per TV — Standard plasterboard mounts from $180; brick or tile from $240; in-wall cable run from $80 extra.

Clovelly context

What tv wall mounting looks like in Clovelly

Clovelly walk-up flats above Burnie Park are predominantly '60s and '70s solid-brick walls with thin internal partitions. The challenge is rarely the wall — it's the access. We've carried 75" TVs up two flights of stairs more than once because the lift didn't fit them. On the cottage side, lath-and-plaster is common, and salt-air ingress through louvre windows is enough to require salt-resistant bracket hardware on every coastal-facing wall.

Recent Clovelly job

Recent: 65" Hisense in a top-floor flat above Clovelly Bay. Stair carry up two flights, mounted on a north-facing solid-brick wall (away from the salt path), bracket and anchors at standard masonry spec, cable run along skirting in a colour-matched D-line. Two-hour job once we got it inside.

Our process — same standard, every booking

  1. 1

    Locate studs and services

Stud finder plus knowledge of where Bondi sparkies usually run cables. We don't drill blind.

  2. 2

    Mount square

Bracket levelled to the laser, not the (usually crooked) skirting.

  3. 3

    Tidy cables

In-wall conduit run on plasterboard; trunking on solid walls.

TV Wall Mounting questions, answered

  • Can you hide the cables in the wall?
On plasterboard, almost always. On brick or concrete, we use trunking instead — neat but not invisible.
  • What size TV can a Bondi apartment plasterboard wall hold?
Up to ~75" with proper fixings into studs. Heavier than that, we anchor through to the masonry behind.
  • Will you mount a TV I bought online?
Yes — bring it out of the box and have the bracket ready. We supply standard brackets if needed.
